Do you want to plan a fun scavenger hunt that’s good for people of any age? If so, here are 20 mall scavenger hunt questions for you to use.
We’ve also provided a free printable list of all the questions – keep reading to get your copy.
Here’s how to organize it:
Resources
- List of questions (see below)
- Pens
- Avery 8871 template paper (or plain paper and scissors)
Preparation
Unlike most of our other mall scavenger hunt ideas, this one involves a bit of preparation.
Go through the list of questions and find out the answers for all of them. Some of the research can be done at home by visiting the mall’s website, but most of the questions will mean that you’ll need to visit the mall to get the answers.
You may also need to slightly adjust some of the questions if your local mall doesn’t contain one or more of the stores mentioned in the questions.
The question worksheet has been created using the Avery 8871 template, but can be printed on regular paper if you’d prefer.
Teams
This is a flexible scavenger hunt as it doesn’t matter whether it’s played with just one person, in pairs or in small teams – it all depends on how many players you have and how competitive you want it to be.
Instructions
Give each team (or player) a copy of the scavenger hunt questions and a pen. Their task is to go around the mall and find answers to all the questions, writing the answers down beneath each question.
Although this is more of a low-key scavenger hunt than some of our other ideas, it’s still worth covering some of the rules we’ve listed here.
Set a time limit and arrange a location where they should meet at the end, then send them off hunting for the answers.
Alternative Option
To make this game even more competitive, only give the first question to teams at the beginning. Once they’ve answered that question, give them the next one – keep going until one of the teams has answered all 20 questions correctly.
Points
Teams should earn 10 points for each correct answer. If there’s a tie, the winner will be the team that arrived first at the meeting place.
